About Rayzel

My current life’s work was accidental.

After spending most my life, age 14-22 or so, as a thin, fit person, I began dealing with major symptoms of chronic illness in my early twenties. I gradually became 50 lbs overweight as all my previous activities of hiking, exercising, even taking a long slow stroll, were taken away from me. I filled the void of losing everything I loved to do with food. Food with sugar more specifically.

I went from 120ish pounds to 172 lbs

over a few years (or course with attempts at dieting and losing 8-10 lbs here and there over this time, which of course I would gain back as I couldn’t kick my sugar addiction that had formed).

The protocol that got me back to my original body, the hCG Diet, was great.

And while I learned to maintain my weight loss, I saw just what a struggle it was for others. I saw even myself having to make corrections in my eating more frequently than I should have needed to, to keep my weight off, simply because I didn’t really know the main keys to a stable maintenance.

I combined research with my own experiences at both trial & error, as well as my successes, at maintaining, with a series of blogposts about stabilizing during Phase 3 of the hCG Diet.

At that time there was no thought of anything more structured than a series of basic do’s and don’ts.

Because my chronic illness severely limits my day to day activities that most normal people might engage in, I found myself at a point in 2015 feeling really listless and purposeless with my time.

I had too much time on my hands each day and not enough ways to spend it in a fruitful, productive manner, that I could do within the confines of my illness.

This led to the idea of working on a more structured program for Phase 3.

2 years later, after much planning, research, and hard work, the Phase 3 to Life Program, a specific structured program for Phase 3 of the hCG Diet Protocol, has now proven itself as not only a way to successfully stabilize and maintain weight loss, but to actually finally settle on a way of eating long term that a woman feels happy and content with. This. Is. Huge.

All of us women can do any diet temporarily to lose weight. But we struggle to figure out a way to eat for life that we can actually stick to because we’re happy with it. This program really offers that. Woman and after woman emails me expressing how much they love eating this way, how their families love it, how the recipes and cooking and food has actually brought their family relationships more together even! Honestly, it has achieved more than I even expected.
